This is the beginning of the second chapter of "Queen of Spades: The Tale of the Flatwoods Monster," my original story about the legendary cryptid of Braxton County, West Virginia.
Here, the Flatwoods Monster is depicted as a bratty amalgam of Marie Antoinette and Cher from "Clueless." In this chapter, she teams up with Mothman, the Jersey Devil and a Hopkinsville Goblin to rebuild her ship. These four form the core group of this tale.
